IRS Program Provides Free Tax Assistance for Low-Income Households
Tax season is in full swing and everyone who works in the United States has to update Uncle Sam on their 2021 finances. For many struggling low-income families tax fees are a burden. However, the Internal Revenue Services’ (IRS) Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program provides free tax assistance for households earning $58,000 or less annually. MyMCM visited the VITA site at The Equity Center in Gaithersburg to learn more about how they are helping local low-income families. Music provided by Manhattan Production Music.
