Educating Black Youth, Part 1
In this #Limetime episode, I meet with Dr. Harry Jackson, a conservative education activist, to discuss what works and what isn't working when it comes to educating Black youth. Dr. Jackson is was first black president elected to lead the Parent Teacher Student Association at the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, and an education activist dedicated to improving the lives and quality of education for children in Northern Virginia. Dr. Jackson is a graduate from the United States Naval Academy, a retired naval officer, professor, and host of the USANOW.TV show ‘Education Matters.’ He is the Vice President of the Fairfax County Association for the Gifted Vice President and chairs its Diversity Committee, and also a parent advocate with Parents Defending Education and serves as the African American Community Liaison for Fairfax County GOP.
